Greetings from the chairman of KAMHC:

I welcome all of you who visit the website of KAMHC.

We had the first Korean American Missions Health Conference at Bethel Korean Church in Irvine , Ca on Nov 3-4, 2006 under the catch phrase of “ Heal and set free ” . About 850 people came. Everybody was blessed and challenged. After the conference the KAMHC Council was formed.

There are people who think that the medical mission is a work for the doctors and nurses.

But the paradigm has been changed. It is realized that the medical mission should be holistic. It should be healing of spirit, soul and body. Not only the doctors and nurses but also the Oriental medical doctors, dentist, pharmacist, physical therapist, counselor and evangelist should joint together. Health education is an important part. Drawings and skits would be very good tool for education. Therefore, Sunday school teachers and anybody who had an experience in teaching will be very helpful. Medical mission is everybody ' s job and anybody can participate.
